New Mile stones!

Alot Has been Going on. I am not sure I mentioned I got My Power Wheelchair! It is awesome. I love it. It has given me so much freedom.
I went to the doctors in may for a check up all was well but That afternoon I got so sick with some NASTY EVIL virus. That thing lasted 3 and a half days and I couldn't even keep water down. I called the doctors and told them I wasn't sick til I left their office HAHA. Anyway, My son is now going into the 5th grade and I can't believe he will be 10 in August. My Baby is growing up :(
My cousin is still struggling so is the family but I know they will make a difference for all abused children. The Judge had reduced the monsters bond from 2 million to 80, 000 which was devastating. I prayed to god to let it please be a mistake and the Judge called the family and said it was suppose to be 800,000 full amount no 10% bond God does answer prayers! He apologized to the family and fixed it quickly.
My son has made some friends in the neighborhood and they are such sweet kids. So understanding that andrew is special. It took one boy 2 days to teach andrew to ride his bike ! I was so proud. I am going to close for now and everyone have a great weekend

Please Stop child Abuse! Save our future :)

On March 9 2010 My cousin lost her son to child abuse by someone she left him with one time. Before this day she had never ever left him with someone outside the family. She really loves him and he was her world.
Hadon Gage West was born early and struggled to live. He had made tremendous progress and all of us was so proud of this little miracle and his mom was so strong doing everything she could to make his life the best she could on her own.
She is now making it her mission while grieveing  to  get the message out about child abouse and the signs of it. She hopes to save more children from the same fate her little man got. So with that being said any donations made on this blog will be given to the family to help cover all the cost.

March hope warmer weather comes soon

Spring is Here I hope haha. I am really praying our financial situation get's less stressful as warmer weather hits. My mom came in from Alabama and treated us to lunch at Los Trojas and it was the first mexican restaraunt we have ever been to not counting taco bell. My son is doing great in school and his teacher had positive things to say about him. His PT therapist said he is the most cooperative child he has had and that was a relief to hear. We really want to be able to go on a vacation even if its only for 2 days but we just do not have it so all I can do is trust god and pray for a miracle.
I am still waiting on My electric wheelchair but I am going to PT 3 times a week for myself and the first 2 times I was so sore and could barely move but the soreness has left but PT starts again tomorrow lol. One good thing we have 11 months left to pay on the van WOOHOO and 8 months left on a personal loan once we get those paid off it will help so much. We applied yet again for food stamps just maybe we will get it this time. I mean it's ridiculous that we are on disability and SSI and can't get food stamps. It's always been the same story we make 1.00 too much and as of now our gas tank is almost on E and not sure how we will handle it. I know we can't fill it Oh well I will Just continue to have faith that a Miracle will happen. I will keep all who reads this updated on my Wheelchair.
Have any of you seen The Temple Grandin Movie on HBO it is an Awesome Movie. It really opened my eyes to what my husband and son go through and I recommend it to everyone. Well time to close for now everyone have a great afternoon. If you would like to help in anyway you can email me at awoessner2009@charter.net I also have a donate button Please understand I am in no way asking for handouts nor am I begging. I always pay it forward when I can . We are a very Blessed family and I pray for those worse off and lets keep the earthquake victims and families in our prayers.

Lots of Snow and sickness

It has been a while but alot has happened. We had two snow storms hit us and I have been working on getting me my first electric wheelchair (power chair). Last week my son became very sick. We took him to the doctor on monday and we were told it was a bad cold by thursday he was the same and had been unable to go to school. We took him back to the doctor and she said he has a ear infection so we had to get him antibiotics by this monday he was back to his silly self. School was out this monday so he was suppose to go back tuesday but another snow hit and they actually closed his school. Wednesday he went back to school and he had a field trip to the hands on science center. It was a classmates birthday party so they just made it a class trip. I am hoping to go get Andrew signed up for soccer again. We had to struggle to pay our outrageous gas bill and I pray it is cheaper. Another note, I am so proud of andrew for being in the top reading group in his class! He is growing up so fast.
I was watching an old wiggles video on youtube and it was a song I use to sing to him when he was a toddler and he looked over at me and gave me that same sweet grin he did as a toddler and started singing it with me. He remembered even at 10 years old. It melted my heart. Guess thats all for now. I will try harder to keep you updated.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful christmas and New year. We went to my moms in Alabama. I didn't realize alabama state line was so close to us. We all had a wonderful christmas and thanks to some wonderful heros my son had a nice christmas.
I want to tell you about my husband. He is so special and deserves so much and he takes care of me and my son and the house. We have been married 16 years and if you didn't know he was diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome when our son was 3 so about a year after our son was diagnosed with autism.  Before my husband could get his disability we ended up losing our house to forclosure and I don't like talking about it much. We had to move into govt. Housing which was in a high crime area and full of roaches. At that time my husband was so depressed and so was I. We met a nice family willing to rent a nice house out to us for a year and then we can buy it from them. She talked to some people and we were able to buy this wonderful house. So now because of some things that has happened and SSI/disability is barely enough to get by. I would like for some of the burden to be lifted. I found this wonderful website and I have posted a wish on there so if you feel compelled to help or just pray for us let me know on that website.  The website is http://www.wishuponahero.com/wishes/?id=499291
